ACMQ Code of Ethics

To adhere fully to codes of ethical and professional conduct, as established by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association or applicable state medical or professional society.
To practice the healthcare profession with adherence to the law, conscience and dignity.
To adhere to the standard of care in all medical decision-making.
Not to be influenced by motives of profit in the free and independent exercise of professional judgment on behalf of patients, providers or payors.
To have a medical or health professional license in the state or country where practicing healthcare.
To supply truthful and complete information in application for ACMQ membership.
When sitting on the board of trustees, to disclose fully and promptly any potential conflicts of interest which may include any fiduciary duty to a person or entity other than ACMQ that might jeopardize the board member's ability to exercise independent judgment and act in the best interests of ACMQ.
