Dr. Beverly Collins is a board member and treasurer of the American College of Medical Quality, and serves as a board member and Co-chair of the Exam Writing Committee of the American Board of Medical Quality.
She has worked in multiple healthcare fields including her current position of VP, Chief Quality Officer at Health Partners Plans in Philadelphia; Medical Director at WellCare, NJ; Medical Director and VP of Quality and Training for an insurance company Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) program, and Senior Director of Medical Informatics Department leveraging data and methodologies for care cost management, development of provider performance programs, and predictive modeling.
Dr. Collins has more than 20 years of leadership experience in organized medicine, such as the Maryland State Medical Society (MedChi), the Baltimore City Medical Society where she was President in 1999, and the American College of Preventive Medicine, as well as the American College of Medical Quality.
Dr. Collins received her M.D. from the University of Maryland Medical School, her Executive M.B.A. degree from Loyola University in Baltimore, and her M.S. in Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is board certified in Preventive Medicine.
