Claudio Loffreda-Mancinelli, MD, MMM, FACMQ is currently serving on the Board of Trustees of the American College of Medical Quality and is the Chairman of the Membership Committee. Dr. Loffreda-Mancinelli graduated from the University of Rome (Italy) Medical School, completed a residency program in Anesthesia/CCM at the Catholic University in Rome, and the residency program in Anesthesia as well as a Fellowship in Obstetric Anesthesia at the University of Pittsburgh. He holds a Masters in Medical Management (MMM) from Carnegie Mellon University and has a Black Belt Certificate in Lean Six Sigma.

He has authored numerous lectures, publications, and presentations. Claudio has been a guest speaker pertaining to “Quality in Health Care” both nationally and abroad. As an anesthesiologist and partner with Keystone Anesthesia Consultants, located in the Pittsburgh Metro Area, he is responsible for the quality guidelines and protocols in the Anesthesia Department and has a leadership role for the Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome management.

Before joining Keystone Anesthesia Consultants in 2012, Dr. Loffreda-Mancinelli was an assistant professor of Anesthesiology at the Catholic University in Rome, Italy, and staff anesthesiologist at Heritage Valley Health System.

While at Heritage Valley, he was Chairman of the Quality Committee, Chief of the Medical Staff, and Director of the Quality Program for the Family Practice Residency Program.

Dr. Loffreda-Mancinelli is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and has been a member of the Quality Management & Departmental Administration Committee (QMDA): National Quality Committee of the American Society of Anesthesiologists – ASA.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family. His favorite hobbies include: soccer, skiing, photography, and playing the piano.
